Bali Day 4: Canggu Beach Club Hopping

The day after the wedding party, we decided to attempt to catch up on some sleep, so we slept in till around 11am, and slowly dragged ourselves out of bed. After consuming an RX bar (staple), we thought it would be nice to explore Canggu today, because it was close, and we thought it would lead to a shorter day (terrible assumption).

Our first stop was a beach club called Potato head. It's super popular, but it was fun to go and hang out there, we each got a drink and some ice cream, and it was overall a very nice vibe.

It was nice, but very expensive. If you are on a budget, I would not recommend it. The same goes for the next place we went to on our Canggu beach club crawl, or the CBCC as its fondly remembered as only by me. We went to Finn's next, definitely the most famous beach club in Bali, and for good reason. The vibe was amazing, it was packed and the music was good, as they had a DJ.

We grabbed a drink, had a (surprisingly good) Margherita pizza, and watched the sunset. We ended up just talking and taking in the ambiance for a while, until we decided, around 9pm, it was time to go to our next spot.

We got a recommendation from a local saying that we should go to a restaurant/club called La Favela, they said the interior was interesting and the Brazilian themed food and drinks were good. We wanted to grab dinner before heading to another place so we stopped at a Mediterranean themed restaurant called Santorini. It was actually Australian fusion, but it was great! I got the Sunday roast, and the meat was so tender, it was falling off the bone.

When we arrived at La Favela after our meal, I was stunned. It was gorgeous. We got there while it was still a restaurant, so we each got a drink and some snacks. The food was good but my non-alcoholic drink was too sweet for my liking. The interior looks like this:

It was super fun watching this beautiful place slowly turn into a club, and though we stayed for the first hour of it being a club, the music wasn't the best, and we knew we had an early morning the next day, so we left around midnight and headed back to our room.
